You have been asked to produce a project that shows how Bicester has changed over the centuries.
This project can be in any format you like - Power point, written, typed, film, photography.
Use the websites on your instruction sheet to describe and explain how and why Bicester has developed in the way it has. Possible ideas are:
How has he Market Square changed and why?
How old are the roads into and out of Bicester? do we still use the old road system?
What is it about Bicester that makes people move here? Are these the same reasons it has attracted people throughout the centuries?
Can you find maps, photographs and relevant comments at the local library, on the internet, from family members that show how Bicester has changed.
Do not underestimate the knowledge and expertise of your family - ask them questions - they may have loads to tell you.
This homework is due in Monday 15th October (this is an extension to the original deadline by one week - to give students extra time to complete it effectively).
